1996 Dodge Stratus

Two models are available for the four-door 1996 Dodge Stratus Sedan: the Stratus base model and Stratus ES. For this year, a power sunroof is available and the V6 engine can now be equipped with the AutoStick transmission that permits manual shifting of gears. This year's Stratus are equipped with safety features like dual airbags, child safety locks and optional anti-lock brake system.

 

Standard to both models is the 2L 4 cylinder 132-hp engine coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission. For the ES Stratus, a 2.5 L 168-hp V6 engine fitted with either a 4-speed automatic transmission or 4-speed AutoStick transmission is optional. It comes with the standard rear window defroster, fog lights, tilt steering wheel and cruise control. Additional features to the ES include power door locks, ABS, cast aluminum wheels and the optional integrated child seat, power sunroof and CD player.
