2000 Dodge Stratus

For this year, a new base model joined the Stratus model lineup, the Stratus SE. It is marketed as the value-oriented Stratus. Standard to this model is automatic transmission and the 150-hp 4 cylinder engine, which was previously optional to other Stratus cars. Models equipped with manual transmission are powered by a 132-hp engine. An added feature to this year's Stratus is the optional emergency escape release inside the trunk.

 

The ES model now comes with a standard security system and a power driver seat. The Stratus SE is a four-door front wheel drive. Like other Dodge Stratus models, it comes with a luxurious sleek design and offers a roomy and comfortable interior as well. An array of 2000 Dodge Stratus SE standard and optional features include: air conditioning, driver and passenger airbags, antilock brakes, cassette radio, cruise control, power locks, power seats, power steering, power windows and rear power defroster.
